Yes - but that doesn't mean that all R2 apps will work in R6. Some complex apps don't work across releases due to poor designs (of databases), and bugs corrected in later releases (of Notes Client/Server). I've had scenarios of compiled code no longer working due to a change of reserved names. And then there's the changes in framesets, sections, hide whens, etc. etc.

Don't get me wrong - you probably don't have to check every single feature - only the major ones. Many of our databases worked fine - but there were some complex ones which needed minor tweaks.

So, never assume anything - if in doubt, test it! Else the yolk will be in your face!
